Challenge

With a commitment to leadership and sustainable development, Externat Sacré-Cœur sought to reduce the energy intensity of its campus and optimize future investments. The institution aimed to modernize its real estate assets to align with current energy standards while improving their overall performance.

Mindful of its environmental footprint, the school looked to identify concrete ways to reduce its GHG emissions in the short term, using a sustainable approach that aligns with its educational mission.

IMPLEMENTED SOLUTION

TST was commissioned to conduct a Level II ASHRAE energy audit to identify practical solutions for energy savings and operational improvements. This initiative aimed to reduce the site's energy consumption, enhance occupant comfort, and guide future investments.

The analysis was based on a review of energy bills, observations gathered during the site visit, and an examination of the provided mechanical and electrical plans.
